...so I had a sudden urge to talk about Habibi.
We got close after JMC and SonMar's break-up, during that one week drama when SonMar and I did not talk to each other. So Habibi and I would chat on the floor and talk about movies, music, alcohol and cigarette. That time, he told me he was actually afraid to talk to me especially when SonMar was around. Kaliwali SonMar.
After a while, it seemed our talks became less and less, and I found out he was flirting with Jinky. It was really amusing and I was teasing them both. But Jinky cannot get over her old flame, so she wasn't returning any of Habibi's advances. Then she went on a two-month vacation to the Philippines and kalas, that's it.
During her absence, Habibi became closer to Perlie. They became smoking buddies until he started flirting with her as well, and to the point that he was seriously asking her out. During that time, Fazzly was also making his moves on me, so Habibi used that opportunity to arrange double dates for the four of us. Unfortunately, before he can fulfill his plans, Perlie went on a two-month vacation to the Philippines and again, that's it.
But unlike with Jinky, he continued his courtship thru chat and emails. He would often talk to me asking for help and guidance with Perlie, which ultimately led to another confession involving me. He said he liked/likes/liked me, but was afraid to show because first there was SonMar, then next there was Fazzly. I told him he was just confused because Perlie wasn't around, but he wouldn't want to talk about Perlie because he wanted to talk about us. To cut the story short, we had a kissing episode in the upper rooftop, and well... it was nice. And juicy.
The day after that, he asked if I felt bad about the kiss/es to which I answered no. He said he never thought it could happen between us, but was glad it did. He further asked if it will happen again to which I answered with a laugh. He then started to ask for a date, and I told him we should not go into that direction. He said if I don't want to, then he will not insist. I was relieved.
After that, I noticed that he was becoming attached to Sumi. Perlie and I actually like them together, but Sumi went to marry her long-time boyfriend, albeit not legally (it was a traditional wedding without any documents involved; only the blessings of both families and whatever powerful figure they have in their country), so I just let them be. But Sumi also went on a two-month vacation, and, oh well. Poor Habibi, always being left by his girls.
Our talks became more often than before, but we dare not talk about the kiss (there's this one drinking session, though, when he told me he was looking for me because he wanted to kiss me again). But just recently, we went to disco and he was my partner. And the dance was sexy and wild and...sexy. Oh, and juicy. And it probably took him back to memory lane, and whatever feelings he had/have/had for me took over and he is again asking me out. I said Perlie is coming back. Ignored.
And now, Perlie has come back.
This guy, Habibi, he is really interesting. I think he is great and a nice all-around person. I can be serious with him if I really wanted to. I did like him, before SonMar and I became an item. And I honestly don't know how I would be feeling once he, Perlie, and I finally face each other. One thing I am sure though -- whatever smile I wear on that day, it will be a lie.
