If in any dreamlike instance I get my hands on a thousand dollars, I'll use all of it to buy FANTASY BOOKS!! Novels, sagas, epics, non-epics, whatever!!

So browsing through different threads, these titles caught my attention:

Shadow of the Wind - Carlos Ruiz Zafon
East of Eden - John Steinbeck
Snow Crash - Neal Stephenson
A Shadow in Summer - Daniel Abraham
The Lies of Locke Lamora - Scott Lynch
The Prince of Nothing - R. Scott Bakker
The Dying Earth - Jack Vance
Malazan Book of the Fallen - Steven Erikson
Sword of Shadows - J.V. Jones

After I finished paying off my laptop, I'll then spend my salary on books. However, the greatest problem here will be the availability of the books on stores. That is highly frustrating! And no, I don't want to read it on my pc, so e-books are not an option.

But first, I need to find Last Light of the Sun by Guy Gavriel Kay, and probably other George R. R. Martin works aside from A Song of Ice and Fire (the greatest book I've ever read). Thank goodness my brother had already collected Memory, Sorrow and Thorn by Tad Williams, and The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant by Stephen R. Donaldson.

I have to ask my brother if he knows some of the authors above (I bet he does), and maybe ask his help to look for them. After all, the books will be displayed in his room, not mine. You know, I can't help but wonder why it has to be his shelf when mine is much bigger and looks nicer than his. I mean, come on, my four Potter books, Shakespeare collection (which I've never read), and Nihongo dictionary obviously needs a new buddy.

Tolkien, Kay, and Martin...thank you for taking me into your worlds. Let us hope I can find the other worlds as well.
