what work?

Just recently, I posted about my plan to go to Boracay. I had my mind already set on it. I bought my luggage and other stuff, I resigned from my job, I used my money to call Dize via cellphone, I submitted my resume to different companies, I worked hard on every exam and interviews.

Then my mother asked me why don't I continue my Nihongo lessons? I remember one of my interviewers also asking me why I stopped with the classes, when in fact I can get paid better if I worked as an interpreter. Well of course that is true, but in order to get paid better I also need to spend a lot, especially since the tuition fee is kinda expensive.

My mother was telling me that I need to work hard, and she also pointed out that if in case I continue with the lessons, then I really need to find a job that offers graveyard shift, so that I can have my classes in the morning (which is 2-3 days per week only). In short, I need to apply in a call center company...again.

I don't like to work in a call center company, that's what I fully realized as a Resa agent of 5J. My mother said that unless I find other jobs that offer night shifts with big salaries, then I won't be able to continue with my lessons, which she understands as something that I am passionate about. And I know that she’s right. And she somehow made me think about those things.

I called up NCF, both Sampaloc and Makati branches, and asked for the schedule of the classes, and the tuition fee (around 9K). Wow. That’s really a lot of money.

So what am I to do now? I’m split up in two. I wish I have a WORM counterpart (but I hope it doesn’t kill me though), so that I can do both at the same time. I wanted to continue with the lessons, yet I also wanted to work in Boracay. Self-studying doesn’t work for me, as well as working at a call center company.

Man, this is tough.

*worm - those green bulky things in Kamen Rider Kabuto  that mimics human, but kill their original counterparts
