Since the day I went out with Pilay to Abu Dhabi, he kept on calling and texting me, and he went on further by doing some annoying embarrassing stuff like buying me things.

If it was food, then it's okay. But in just a few days, he managed to buy me shoes (Converse All Star), wrist watch (pink!Lacoste), and roses. He's even planning to buy me necklace with my name on it — and thankfully I was able to convince him that necklace = definitely not Yara style.


Speaking of styles, he's starting to get delusional.

"If I became your boyfriend, I will change you completely. Even if more boys will look at you, you can only wear skinny jeans and not your flared pants."

As if.

As if he will become my boyfriend. As if I will wear skinny jeans for him.

I don't want him to spend money on me any further, but he doesn't listen. He does whatever he wants because it's his money.

"Why, not allowed?", he will ask me.

He's so stubborn. He knows I will not be his girlfriend but he doesn't stop.

"Where will we go next? Jumeirah? Wild Wadi? Burj Khalifa?"

I told him to save his money and use it only for more important things. He said he doesn't have other important things, but he likes to buy me gifts.

"Why, not allowed?" Again.

But I feel guilty because this is going nowhere. Still, he doesn't listen. I kept telling him I don't want boyfriend because it's easier to say than I don't like you.

He said he's madly in love. I know. He can't sleep because he's missing me. I know. He doesn't want to get married but if I would like it, then he will. I know.

But Lord, good Lord, he's not Bespren.
