I gave my ACER laptop away to a trusted person. Although this person gave me an iPOD in return (something I never really thought of using, I’ll probably just sell it to someone – it’s pretty new). After I parted with my laptop, I realized that it really is better to watch stuff in a 14-inch monitor than on my 10-inch netbook. Plus, I cannot continue watching my DVD-burnt movies and series. I will have to buy an external DVD drive. That’s another P2.5k on my to-buy list. Geez, I really have to sell that iPOD.

I had a chat with Natalie, a friend from highschool, a few weeks ago. She should be here in the Philippines by now, but I haven’t heard from her since then. I hope we find a good date to meet up – with Jeff, Jenny, Cha and Jason present. I know I’m also kind of hard to meet these days, especially having skeletal schedule at work, but I think I haven’t seen Natalie since I graduated from college so I really wanted to meet with everyone else.

I was digging through my things when I saw my One Piece “WANTED” posters my brother gave me last Christmas. I HAVE to put it on my wall, but I can’t find enough space to put everything, unless I tear down my other four posters on the wall. Or, I can just ask my father to place the plywood on the window separating my room from my brother’s permanently. Then I’ll put paint or wallpaper on it, and I’ll put my WANTED posters there. That’s my first project after I resigned from work.

Since Mica has now started semi-walking, my brother decided to place his entire book collection on my room. When I got home after he rearranged my shelf to accommodate his books, I was awed. Wow. His ENTIRE book collection on MY room. That’s joy.

Well until I noticed that MY books are nowhere to be seen. When I opened my closet, there they are – my books, albums, and other stuff. Although I find his book collection to be pretty cool, I don’t see the reason why MY things have to be hidden in my closet, while his is on display in my room. But seeing that there is no more space, I decided to at least display my first four Harry Potter books. The others just have to understand.

We have two new puppies and they are aptly named Zoro and Sanji. Zoro always sleeps and has no sense of direction, just like his counterpart. Sanji is always picking a fight with Zoro, also the same as his counterpart. Weehee, I just find it amusing.

Mica will turn 1 on Monday, but will be celebrating it on Saturday. I have no gift yet, and I only realized it when Francis told me he has no gift for my niece. Woops.

I have started reading The Mortal Instruments, a (trilogy) novel from Cassandra Claire, the author of the very famous Draco trilogy, a fan fiction in the Harry Potter universe. I am a little bit worried about the plot because the story revolves around a human girl and a vampire boy, and probably a lycan, too. I haven’t read the Eclipse saga (and have no intention too, despite the ravings), mainly because I gave up half way of the first movie. The characters are not likeable, the romance seems too random, the story is bo~ring, the guy playing the vampire lead is so flat and not cute at all, and well, it just did not catch my interest. Back to TMI, I’ve only read the first chapter and it was so-so. But I’ll keep my fingers crossed, I mean, it is Cassandra Claire! One problem, though. I am excited to read the next chapters, but I can’t seem to find my pdf file. Guess I have to download it again.

I got a new memo from work, I was called for an interrogation, and I’ll probably be given a disciplinary sanction. What a load of bull.
