So this wasn’t as merry and dirty and wild as our CME Real getaway last July 1st, but it was definitely a happy and noisy gathering (one of the neighbors approached us and gave us a scolding). It was Kuya Roger’s despedida although he arrived past 10pm, whereas I was at our gimik place (Choy’s) at half past 6. I never really liked him as my staff (too stubborn, too many excuses), but as a friend, I guess he was OK. And now that he’s leaving, I would like to say my appreciation and my thanks for being there and for all the years we’ve worked together, despite being few. Of course I never really told him that in person. I’ll just pray for him and wish him good luck. The path that he chose, I hope, is for the better, and well, bon voyage~
