.kitchen progression.

Ever since 2014 began, I started doing this stuff I don't usually do in the past. It is troublesome, but somehow I end up feeling very satisfied after doing it.

Cooking.

When I moved in this country, I survived by heating up food in the microwave, putting jam or butter on my bread, having dinner at a friend's house, and even as far as considering coffee as a satisfying stomach filler.

But I was somehow enlightened and it felt like a ray of discipline has shone on me. I bought frying pan. Then I bought cooking utensils. I learned that the huge grocery store at the place where I work at has a butchery section. I found out that lemon has more uses than being partnered with tequila. It was like a huge door of possibilities has suddenly opened up and my domestic savings stopped going to Herfy and Carrefour Coffeeshop. It was great discovery.

I searched around the web for recipes. I tried them, and put pepper without hesitation. Ah, it was bliss! A proper meal for a few bucks and I can even spare a few coins for the very rare C2 lemon tea.

Now I don't only cook for myself. I can also confidently ask my friends to try my cooking. And I am excited to let my parents have them as well. After all, I have to let them know that right now, I don't think cooking is a chore anymore. I quite enjoy it, and there were even times that I get restless when it's already past 12MN and I want to cook something badly, but I don't have the ingredients for it.

This is it. Eto na ang sinasabi nila. Pwede na nga siguro akong mag-asawa. Wahahaha.
