The other night, I did the Fairy Tail marathon and as I have said in my previous post, that Tenrou arc is suuuuuu~per amazing. Well most of Fairy Tail's arcs were really good, but the general feeling I got from the Tenrou arc is the same as what I had during the Skypiea arc of OP. Like woah!
Last night, I did the Nurarihyon no Mago marathon and it wasn't very good, but the story is interesting and it's always good to get some back stories from the first and second supreme commander of the Hyakki Yakou. This manga has a lot of potential, but aside from the awesome Hagoromo Gitsune arc, the others were just...normal. Like read and move on.
Then this afternoon, I did the Katekyou Hitman Reborn! marathon (the longest I did out of all), and the current arc is probably going to be one of the best of the series so I'm really looking forward to the next issues. Most of KHR's arcs start out real good, but during the battles, it just doesn't bring out the same feelings as how OP (or even Naruto) does it to me. Even NnM's battles are better and I don't know if it's the fact that the mangaka is female that's why the battles are kind of soft and emotional.
And finally, I did the One Piece marathon, and I'm just happy that the present arc had finished because honestly, as much as I hate to admit it, it really is boring and the only good thing about it was the latest chapter's final page when Luffy invited Jimbei to be his nakama. Only that one panel. I mean Oda, please give us back that totally overwhelming Water7/Enies Lobby feeling.
And for Beelzebub, well that's the only remaining manga I've been reading faithfully every week, and I have to say that it is funny and exciting as hell! Those few Sudoku game panels are totally hilarious, and I hope this fire of BB doesn't die out.
I will read Naruto and Bleach when I suddenly get that 'i'm missing Gaara/Byakuya so I need to read Naruto/Bleach' feeling. Until then, I'll just leave my knowledge of the series as how I left them years ago. Azuma is dead, and Aizen and his cohorts has finally arrive in the fake town (whatever the name is).
